Hartland Community Arts is seeking art for our upcoming Everyone is an Artist show happening on August 1, at Damon Hall.
Do you have art to submit? Please send a photograph of your piece of art (sculpture, painting, collage, sketch, fingerpaint, fiber art, whatever you make!) to hartlandarts1@gmail.com. We need your submissions by July 27 at 9 am. This is an all-ages show!
If you currently don't have any art for the show, we have two upcoming weekends of workshops planned to help remedy this situation. The first weekend date is coming up soon!
On Saturday, July 18, in the library community room, there will be two free workshops.
From 10am-12 pm, Prue will be offering a collage class. Play with paper!
From 2-3:30 pm, Chiho will be offering a sketching class. Make a still life, portrait or botanical drawing!
These workshops are co-sponsored by the Hartland Public Library!
Come take a workshop, make some art, and submit it for the show! We'll have a party to celebrate on Saturday, August 1, and the show will be up in Damon Hall for 2 weeks.
